The ScareFest is the biggest Horror and Paranormal Convention in the southeast where you will be able to experience three horror- filled- days on September 12th, 13th,and 14th, 2008. Come and meet your favorite celebrities in the horror and paranormal community.
Spend hours shopping through the huge 18,000 square foot dealer room where over 100 vendors will be selling weird, strange, unique and extraordinary horror and paranomal items. During your three day adventure you will be able to attend many seminars, Q&A sessions, movie screenings, and workshops that will be offered by some of the celebrities at Scare Fest.
And it doesn't stop there! After-hour events will include dinner with the stars, VIP parties, Nightmare Haunted house, midnight horror movies at the Historic Kentucky Theater, tours and other events.
The Scare Fest is hosted by Ghost Chasers International, Inc. and was created by Jeff Waldridge, Patti Starr.and Chuck Starr. The Scare Fest will be held at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky, one of the largest convention centers in the state with an abundance of parking on site.
This was the best paranormal convention we have attended. You really have to give Patti Starr credit for hosting a well-organized, reasonably priced event on her first try! We have been to some really awful events that called themselves paranormal conventions, which cost more, and offered way less. Every speaker we heard was well-prepared and the staff was flawless. She invited celebrities and speakers that we wanted to hear, not no-namers who you really could care less about what they had to say. There were comfortable chairs in the seminar rooms, and refreshments available at the food court the entire time.
They are already busy preparing for next year's event, and we are excited to attend, September 11-13, 2009. You should also check out her other events which include classes, tours, and overnight investigations, because for someone who is so organized, they are sure to be top notch!
