Crown Hill Cemetery Events/Tours

Join us on our newest guided walking tour, "Skeletons in the Closet" ... and uncover the secrets some of Crown Hill's "residents" thought they'd carried to the grave!

Among the programs the Crown Hill Heritage Foundation develops and supports is the popular tours program. Voted the "Best Walking Tour in Indy" by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine, Crown Hill is proud to offer a wide variety of public walking tours from March through November. While on a tour, you will explore the history and heritage of the citizens of our community along with enjoying the natural setting and the unique historical buildings found within the cemetery. Reservations are not required and you often have the opportunity to see the sunset from Indianapolis' highest hill, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city's skyline.

Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana

Historic Landmarks’ tours are far from typical. We gain exclusive access to local landmarks and provide expert commentary on Indiana’s heritage. From guided walking tours to half-day bus excursions and multi-day trips, Historic Landmarks organizes heritage touring opportunities featuring unique perspective and off-the-beaten-path historic sites.
